Voice Lessons
October 28, 2008. Joey Aguilar has started teaching voice lessons to selected church members to improve their singing. This project of the Music Ministry endeavors to educate singers regarding the proper use of the human body as a musical instrument to be used for God's service.

New Church Pastors
October 24, 2008. An ongoing object lesson for the members of the Vancouver Filipino Church is the patient awaiting of the imminent arrival of Pastor Levi Estores. Members can draw parallels with that of waiting for the second coming of the Lord. Some have projected that Pastor Estores will arrive by the end of this month while others are hoping for him and his wife to set foot on Vancouver soil before the year 2008 expires. God is so good in sending another couple in the person of Pastor Andrew & Mrs. Jennifer Roque from Alberta. They have generously offered their services to the church and the members in turn have embraced them as their own. Pastor Andrew has already touched the lives of both young and old, have led the recent Agape Feast and weekly Wednesday night midweek prayer meetings and is very much involved in the Street Ministry.
