Another unforgetable Sabbath was that of August 23, 2008. The Vancouver Angklung Ensemble, Church Choir, and Ladies Harmony and other church members visited Ferndale SDA Church leading out in the worship service. Later in the afternoon, they proceeded to where the sundown worship and socials were held. Trip highlights included border crossing challenges, First Elder Ed Flores' divine worship sermon, musical numbers rendered by the angklung, choir, ladies and children, "Matchless" Bible game, and the barn socials.
